How is this shipped?
We have chosen the best delivery companies to ship our furniture. Their delivery team will bring the order inside your residence to the room of choice (includes carrying the product up two (2) flights of stairs). They will unpack the product(s) and remove the packaging. They will also assemble and setup our upholstered beds. Please make sure you do not sign for damaged merchandise without noting it on the paperwork. Please take pictures. Contact your delivery team immediately if your item is received damaged.

How long does shipping take?
On average shipping takes approximately 10 days. Your location in relationship to North Carolina may impact this. West Coast deliveries may be a few days longer and East Coast deliveries a few days less. Any delivery occurring during a holiday will take longer. The week of July 4th and the week between Christmas and New Years are industry holidays and will impact deliveries.

Can I guarantee a 3 week lead time?
Yes, if you pay an additional 25%. You can guarantee your item will ship in 3 weeks.

What if I miss my delivery appointment?
If you miss your appointment, please contact your delivery team to reschedule. A re-delivery fee will be assessed.

Can I get a fabric or wood finish swatch?
Yes fabric swatches are free up to 6 swatches and the wood swatches are $2.00 each. Please request fabric swatches at kristin@kristindrohancollection.com.

Can I fit an adjustable mattress or sleep number mattress in your upholstered beds?
Yes, if you have Prana, Sleep Number or any other specialty mattress, please let us know with your order so we can make the correct base.

Can I use my own fabric?
Yes you can. That is called COM or Customer’s Own Material. You will need to fill out our COM form. We cannot guarantee a 3-5 week lead time with COM. Your item will not be put into production until we receive your fabric. Lead time will be 5-7 weeks.

What if I need a custom size?
You can do custom sizing on any KDC frame and you may order other items not in this program. Please contact us at Kristin@kristindrohancollection.com for pricing and to place the order. Lead times will be slightly longer.

Can I change my order after it is placed?
There is a slight fee to change an order once it has been placed, if that change is made within a week. An order can’t be changed once the finish has been applied without incurring additional fees.

Can I order my sofa or sectional as a sleeper sofa or sleeper sectional?
Yes you can. Please email us kristin@kristindrohancollection.com for additional information. Most of our frames can be made into a sleeper.

Is your product sustainable and chemical free?
Yes, Kristin started the company based on this principle. She was one of the first 100 interior designers to receive her Green Accredited Professional certification from the Sustainable Furnishing Council. It is extremely important to her to produce a product that is not only safe but has the smallest environmental footprint as possible.

All of our cushions are completely chemical free/flame retardant free. If you are sourcing a commercial project, just let us know and we can accommodate your needs. We have custom options that will satisfy many allergy and chemical sensitivities without upcharges.

  • Spring down alternative cushion construction for those allergic to down or opposed to down. This cushion epitomizes the plush sit of our spring down cushions.
  • Oeko tex rated fabrics (this system tests for harmful chemicals in textiles that contact the skin)
  • 100 natural fiber fabrics
  • Organic fiber fabrics
  • Green Guard rated fabrics (this system evaluates interior products and materials that have low chemical emissions)
  • Low VOC finishes

Can I return my furniture?
If your item has a manufacture’s defect that is not freight damage, we will be happy to return your item. We want you to be thrilled with your purchase. Please note we do not accept returns because you do not like the fabric color or wood finish. Please request a sample if an exact match is needed. We do not accept returns if the item does not fit in the space or if it does not fit through the access to the space. Please measure carefully, especially stair case turns. We photograph every item prior to the departure from our facility. If there are cracks, scrapes, cuts, or any other blemish, it is from freight damage. Please contact the delivery team and take pictures of any damage. Do not sign for the item without noting the damage. Custom sizing or COM is not returnable

What is the warranty on your furniture?
Warranty: We offer a lifetime warranty on the frame and springs to the original purchaser. Excessive wear or abuse and acts of God (i.e. fire, moving, damage, mildew, water damage etc) will not be covered by our warranty. If those components do not perform as expected under ‚Äúnormal conditions,‚ÄĚ these items will be repaired or replaced at No Charge, once our staff has determined ‚Äúliability.‚ÄĚ This service policy extends solely to the original purchaser.

Payment: We require a payment of 100% to begin production. Receipt of payment serves as agreement to specifications on this invoice; please verify all information is correct. Fabrication time commences with receipt of payment. It takes approximately 3-5 weeks for production of in line product and 8-10 weeks for custom sizing.

Dimensions on our products are approximate due to the hand craftsmanship of each item. Actual dimensions could vary one to two inches. If exact dimensions are required, please indicate that on your order. Custom sized orders are non-returnable.

SHIPPING DAMAGE:
DO NOT accept any merchandise that has damaged packaging unless it is opened and inspected upon delivery and deemed in good condition. Should Merchandise be delivered damaged, Client will contact your delivery team immediately and take pictures of the damage. DO NOT SIGN FOR AND ACCEPT DAMAGED MERCHANDISE without indicating a detailed description of the damage on the paperwork.

Returns or Repairs: Approval for any repair or return must be received in advance, simply email kristin@kristindrohancollection.com. Custom orders are non-returnable.

THE KRISTIN DROHAN COLLECTION does not guarantee and will not assume responsibility for color fastness or the wearing qualities of any fabric. Any adjustment made, will depend on the fabric manufacturer’s willingness to stand behind their product. We cannot be responsible for color variations beyond a reasonable commercial match. The Kristin Drohan Collection will not be responsible for fabric that has been treated with a stain-repellent finished by the customer. The Kristin Drohan Collection works with the finest fabric mills. When selecting textiles for our upholstery line, we only purchase fabrics that pass stringent industry standards. Oftentimes fabrics have inherent characteristics that are part of their uniqueness, such as color variation, slubs, or natural fiber contents. Most woven fabrics will show wear due to friction from use. In addition, we cannot control the wear our furniture will receive in the home.
Due to the differences in internet browsers, screen images, and printer settings, the finish of the wood and color of the fabrics may be slightly different than the images on this website. If you need exact color or match, please purchase a wood sample or request a fabric sample.
