Kristin,
I love your site and your style. I have a five foot sliding glass door and I am looking for a new window treatment for it. The door is in my dining area which is open to my kitchen. To the right of the door are the kitchen cabinets and this is the side that opens. To the left of the door there is about two feet of space. I would love drapes but I’m not sure how that would work. I’m open to anything though. Right now I have verical blinds with a sheer overlay that fits over the verticals. Nothing is really wrong with them but we would like to update the look.
Thanks,
Karen
Your work is so impressive. I really love your blog too.
I love Library 01. We just painted one of our rooms an olive green. Our furniture and rugs have burgandy, green, cream and gold in them. The overall look of the room is much darker than anything else in our house. It takes some getting used to but I think we are going to like it. I grew up with pastels on the wall but now, I love more intense color as long as it it the right color to bring everything together.
Great stuff…I think you’ve made some truly interesting points.Keep up the good work.
